What is love anyway?

The best definition I’ve come up with is:

When one person wants the satisfaction of the other as much as their own.

Not more; that’s narcissistic. Not less; that’s masochistic.

Pretty simple. Yet pretty hard to achieve.

Because we’re often so clueless to ourselves.

And can’t see the forest for the trees.

So what is a person to do?

Together, we can help you quietly clear a field of contentment.

Instead of whacking in the weeds, until you feel hopelessly lost in the woods.

And that’s especially important for all of us now.
